Defensive challenge first four games of 2014

i see it more a as a big test for those first four opposing offenses. i'm not worried about our D at all. i put them against any offense with confidence.

If Goodell suspends Hardy now, then Hardy is found innocent by a jury, Rosenhaus/Hardy will sue the living crap out of Goodell & the NFL.

 

No they won't. They'll do what the CBA says.

I wonder if there is any precedent for players in the appellate process getting suspended or not? I was under the impression that there was no set rule saying if you get arrested for domestic violence then you'll get suspended this long, but rather it was just a part of the personal conduct policy that if a player does something that reflects poorly on the league they can be suspended. 

 

That being said, the only O that worries me in the first quarter of the season is Detroit's. I expect the Bucs to stumble with so many new pieces in place. As far as the Steelers, as long as we don't let Brown get to the outside on dink and dunk plays, I think we'll be fine. The Ravens will likely be without Ray Rice when we play them, so while Smitty will likely go off on us, and T. Smith or Jones will probably gash us deep once or twice, I still see us winning vs. a one dimensional offense. Tate, Bush, Ebron, and Megatron though are going to put Shula and our offense to the test though. I hope we can slow them down enough to keep up.

I don't think the League or Richardson will levy any punishment until the entire legal process has played out... Hardy will probably play the entire season.

Intersting..even with a conviction that is still the case? I'm not a lawyer, but I can see if he was accused (with no conviction in a court of law) of him being able to sue for damages.Hope you are correct for the teams sake.

I don't think you understand how are legal system. Hardy hasn't been convicted of anything. His appeal makes the verdict by the judge null since he is getting a trail by jury

Hardy is great shopping the run. He's inconsistent in pass rush. He feasts on scrubs but doesn't show up on the better tackles most of the time. Forget about frank. Mario has this. Look inside, you know it to be true
