No, not all, Webb has been playinv outstanding during pre season, I think his QB rating has been in the 140s during pre season, if he just did half that and maintained a 75 plus QB rating during the regular season and our top 2 D stayed healthy, 9 wins is doable.

He's not playing outstanding at all.  He's only played before with the Vikings, a team who's desperation for a QB is beyond measure. The only stat with enough information to judge is his passing stats, and they're terrible...66.6 career passer rating, and that's against starters.

 

That passer rating you mentioned(which was 156) was only the Pats game, in the 4th quarter, and it came from 4 attempts, 3 completions, and a TD against the depths of NE's roster. His rating for the KC game was 95.1, and that was from 3 attempts, 2 completions late in the game as well.  The game he played the most, which was Buffalo, his passer rating was 73.5, and still, that was against the bottom half of Buffalo's roster in the 2nd half of the game... not good.  Don't get stuck on numbers in the preseason, they can, and will, mislead the crap out of you.  He's a freak athlete, but that doesn't make him a good QB.

It only takes about a 5% change in a team to put them over the top toward the playoffs or drop them out altogether.  Teams don't have to get waaaay better or worse as far as personnel to see a big change in their record.

Bc they have good receivers. Guys getting open makes it easy for the o line, running the ball makes it easy for receivers. We have neither that are proven so we get disrespect. I can see their point even if i dont agree
