2015 Top Prospects By Position

Obviously we're stacked at RB now and have holes everywhere but I'd LOVE to have Gurley in a Panther uni. Especially from where I think we'll be picking. If he's there he'll be hard to pass. Really depends on what we do with the RB position in the offseason. Cedric Ogbuehi is my number one pick as of now though. Unlikely we come close to being able to draft him though :(

Agree.

I love Ogbuehi too; has some beautiful feet. But, I think that Brandon Scherff will probably be the top OT come draft day. Could even play (2014 + combine) his way to be the no1 pick next year. He's a tough physical guy. See Fisher > Joeckel (2013) and Robinson > Matthews (2014).

only reason Mariota is above Winston is because of character concerns and i agree

I don't think that is the only reason. Marcus Mariota is every bit the athlete Winston is, and is actually a bit faster. This year, Winston is about 10 lbs heavier than Mariota, and Mariota will likely never weigh as much as Winston. Mariota has better feet in the pocket and a better throwing motion than Winston as well. Winston has the edge in arm strength I think.

I think there are a lot of reasons to believe Mariota could be a better NFL QB other than just character concerns. It's a close call though.

Mariota is no different a prospect than RG3 or Kaepernick...

Winston without the character concerns is an Andrew Luck/ John Elway type level talent

here are 2 videos below for proof

yep Mel Kiper and Todd Mcshay just said it again today on sportscenter on a segment when they were they were talking about Winston

Mel Kiper: " This kid should be the number 1 pick based on his talent... but ive dropped him to 25th on my board to show him.. HEY wake up, in this climate of the nfl, you are costing yourself money..."

Todd Mcshay: If Winston were eligible last year, scouts told me that the Texans would have taken him over Clowney, its really shocking how far Jameis has fallen in that short period of time based on off the field issues"

AJ Cann plays for South Carolina, not Alabama.  Right now IMO, I think we should take Gurley in the 1st if he's available.  Just too good to pass up.  If he's not there, then take an OT.    So a super early mock for me.....

RD 1 - Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia

RD 2 - Corey Robinson, OT, South Carolina

RD 3 - Justin Hardy, WR, East Carolina

RD 4 - Safety

RD 5 - CB

RD 6 - LB

RD 7 - DL

It saddens me that some people still think ESPN is an authority on sports. Good luck to you going forward.
