Your enthusiasm is to be commended. Much like a corner that gets beat or a kicker that misses a field goal, you always have to believe your viewpoint on a message board is correct in order to keep posting.

Cam is only so overrated in NC.

The guy has so much to improve on. He's in his 4th year, and is still making the same mistakes he did day 1. But, you guys are so blinded by the facts bc you guys don't want to lose a "dual threat" QB.

I'm like ESPN. Speak the truth which y'all as fans will get butt hurt over it. #FansWillBeFans

Cam is a beast. You act like other qb's don't make mistakes either. Look at Andrew Luck he makes mistakes as well. It seems like you don't like Cam as a person.

 

Cam is a good looking guy and he plays qb for the Panthers, how can you possibly hate on him?

 

Just curious what would you trade for Cam Newton?

You are the guy that treats national media narratives as gospel instead of what they are, which is ratings grabs that cater to the largest audience possible.

You dont hear about Cam much on ESPN because he plays in Carolina, not Dallas, Green Bay, or Pittsburgh where the fanbases are much larger and the consumption of Cam-related content would be much higher.

The same thing can apply to Kemba Walker. Are there better point guards out there? Absolutely. But Kemba has been improving just as the roster has improved. He has literally been the only scoring option in the backcourt since he got here hence the low efficiency.It's safe to assume he will continue to improve with the addition of Lance. We don't even know what $ amount is being discussed with Kemba. For all we know, it could be a bargain.

If you dont extend him now you risk another team with cap room backing you into a corner like we did with Utah in restricted free agency. All it takes is a team with a ton of cap room that needs a point guard and needs to get above the salary floor.

Cam = two 1st rounders + two 2nd

Luck can def read defenses unlike Cam. Quicker decision maker + higher IQ.

So, is this why Car fans won't criticize Cam now? bc he's a good looking guy? Lmfao

      Look, I've been pounding on the Canales shouldn't be calling the offensive plays thing since last year. He's first off, not very versatile and makes Ron Rivera look like a master of mid-game adjustments. Also, because I think you really, really need to be calling the offensive plays from the booth with a better view of the whole field.  A coach on the field cannot grasp how the opposing sideline WR is doing in coverage while also checking the two receivers on his side, plus keep up with how the line is doing and if the RB is in the groove. Heck, for the line alone he doesn't have the best view of where the RB is going to see success and how to best exploit it. Hence Rico saying, Yo coach, keep running this.  Still, all these things in there, no matter how hard I'm banging on that drum, I can't let it drown out my joy in getting one of those rare Ws. Even coaches can learn and grow from them. I sure hope he will.

      I fully understand the questioning of Dave and BY, just the timing of your concerns is my problem. NFL is ultra hard to pull off the perfect game. In all my years Ive never seen a HC have the perfect game plan and have great play call after great play call.  Tmac has helped in every game, honestly more than I thought he was going to show. It does look like he was in fact the reason to trade AT and allow Tamc to feast on his targets. I have re-watched the wins, I have seen Tmac get red zone looks. Brother, he's about the 80-90% of passing attack. Dave is young inexperienced HC and he's learning on the job, hope he improves along with BYs confidence.    Its going to be alllllll right, trust me as your co-pilot.
