Silatolu, Blackburn, Fozzy Among Players Out Sunday

The Silatolu injury isn't that alarming besides we have no depth because out line played a lot better when he came out on Sunday I think

Bené is a rook but already so important to our D he is amazing we need him back asap he's so quick and knows where to be and is excellent in zone...hopefully power running Stew can run through Swiss cheese GB D then open it up for Cam to run wild and pass all he wants

Green Bay won't let us run the ball. Cam may go over 300 yards today throwing, hell make that 427 yards. We can't run the ball and as long as any team stops us from running the game will be close.

Im actually glad Amini is out, (not glad hes hurt ofcourse) didnt Cam start going ham on the ground with his rushing last week right after Amini left the game?! Ofcourse I wish noone to be hurt, but I think our O line is better without him

Yes the line play improved when Silatolu was out.  Next up is Chandler, then Bell (if neccesary) , Still wait and see on Turner.

I don't know if Amini sucks or just hasn't fully recovered from his injury but to me Velasco is the better player right now.

He is playing the same as he did before the injury.  He consistently causes Cam to either 1. move off of his spot on the dropback  2.  Have to roll out of the pocket 3. Not able to step into his throws.  Unless he gets help it always happens.  And if the defense runs a stunt or twist its pretty much over.

Yeah cause if Velasco and Turner hold it down or the line gives up zero sacks again, then Amini needs to be relegated to back-up duty.  He is still on a cheap rookie deal anyway.

Yes.  I don't think he should start anymore this year.  Maybe next year with a year of experience and more time to heal from injury, but I'm not optimistic either way.

It would be nice. Ironically we went on a winning streak when Amni went down last year, could he be the major problem? I won't argue against it. I would love to get a star safety, linebacker, CB or WR in the draft and find some decent offensive linemen in the later rounds. Not too long ago we seemed to always get decent offensive linemen in the later rounds of the draft.

The left side of the line improved dramatically once Wharton replaced Amini.  I don't think it's coincidental that Jordon Gross started looking way better as well.  As far as replacement, I don't think we need all world talent just not revolving door OL like we have now.   Just watch the 3rd and 7 play at around the 9 minute mark in the Bengals game.  Chandler gets layed out before Cam finishes his drop, Turner gets blown by,  other than maybe 4 QB's in the league and thats a sack.  Luckily Cam is 1 of them.

The line is better without Amini

Most definitely.

Silatolu is a punk

If punk = bad LG then I agree.
