So you're saying that the award will go to the guy who makes the best acrobatic, eye-popping catch(one)... regardless of whether someone else has more catches... more td's... 

 

I don't think anyone's implying that.

 

Anyone's who's seen him play know Beckham is legit and has made plenty of other great catches too.  

 

41 receptions 609 yards and 5 tds in 7 games played isn't bad.  Kid is balling, especially since he's stepped in for Cruz.

 

He has a shot but it's gonna be hard to beat Evans.  OBJ is the best all around rookie receiver though, imo.

If you are gonna say KB doesnt deserve it because of the drops then you gotta say OBJ doesnt deserve it because of how many games he has played. We have only got a sample size from him. Most of them being on primetime also helps too, he didnt touch the field till the middle of the season. Teams are not prepared and dont know what he is capable of. They will be from here on out like KB they saw him shine during pre season so he has put up his numbers while getting extra attention. OJB is gonna be great but he literally just stepped on the scene, its a whole new ball game when teams start game planning for you.

The award winner isn't always the stat leader.  Contenders come from different positions so you can't just go by stats.

      I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......

      Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.

      Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that.
