Madden '10

They always rate us lower than we should be rated. Unless you adjust the ratings yourself, your getting a scaled down Panther team. Of course their ratings are probably based on the average between our best and worst games and consistancy, which always seems to be a problem for us.

Being a Madden fanatic I can honestly say this team sucks on this game. All you need in it is a semi-mobile QB, a RB who can catch out of the back field and a big receiver. All of which the panthers aren't really known for.

Make proper substitutions and your backfield dreams are fulfilled. Fully House Philly formation, hit Williams on the wheel route to the left and it's money every time. Dwill is an awesome reciever in the 08 version.

With the zone coverages in madden it makes it really hard to use steve smith as opposed to TO or Randy Moss. Hopefully however the running game will get more respect next year which will open everything up. Also if Godfrey goes into the post season playing well I expect a bump on his and Otah stats which will be huge.

    • After last season, it was the same question. And the answer most people came to was "If he doesn't make the playoffs, he's gone." He made the playoffs. No matter how it was done, we made it to the playoffs. He's safe. He's going to have a chance to keep working this out, even if next season isn't a playoff one.  I think we'll do better next year than we did this season. There's something being built here.
    • The NBA is a very fickle league. Kon is one of the hottest rookies in years and beyond just his play on the court he is a very steady competitor and that translates to the rest of the team. That has been a glaring absence with the culture of this franchise through the bulk of the LaMelo Ball years that's just being completely blunt and realistic. The enigma of LaMelo Ball is he is entering year 6 and still either red hot or ice cold. We need him to find that sweet spot. Logic dictates the Hornets will want to see this core again next year. But the clock is beyond ticking at this point. It's put up or shut up. Especially considering what the Thunder managed to do recently. I'm hopeful they can keep these wins rolling in and get some much needed playoff experience under their belts which will help substantially.
    • I think as long as the Panthers are competitive with Canales they should keep him. Pepper needs to repair his/the teams image as a place prized free agents aren't hesitant to consider. Just dont do any crazy poo for a few years.
