New Orleans Saints outside linebacker Junior Galette was arrested in Kenner for an undisclosed incident on Monday, according to Kenner police Lt. Brian McGregor.

McGregor said Galette was in custody, but that he was waiting to speak to the patrol officer who arrested Galette before releasing further details.

Galette signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2010.

He signed a lucrative four-year contract extension last September.

"This is the best day of my life!" Galette said after signing the deal. 

"I love being a Saint, love being in New Orleans. "I love the city and I feel like people love me back," he said. "I could have (waited). But how much is enough? I feel like, if you're not content with what they gave me, you'll never be content."
