The Divisional round begins " Patriots vs. Ravens "

Recommended Posts

Go Patriots! Fug Smitty, I never want him sniffing the super bowl again. I'm sorry, I just don't hate the Patriots as much as most on here, I'm not fond of them by any stretch but besides them beating us in the SB, I don't have a beef with them. I can think of many other teams I hate more. So yea, fug Smitty

i don't know who to pull for… but i guess ravens… but i don't want steve smith to get a ring the first year after he leaves us and talks poo… but i want steve smith to get a ring… dammit.

i want the ravens in the superbowl.

luke destroys smitty on the 1 yard line at end of regulation for the panthers first superbowl victory.

I do not know who to root for here.  Baltimore has always been the closest thing I have had to a second favorite team, and now they have Smitty and I want him to get a ring.  That being said my #1 goal in the AFC is that Denver does not win it and I think they could beat Baltimore at home but have no chance at beating New England in Foxboro.  Also, I do like Brady and am pretty neutral on the Pats but like watching the rest of the country squirm when they do well.

Wish I knew the results of the Denver game already but I assume they will win so I guess go Pats

    • He threw for 199 and 198 against Miami and the Cowboys so he didn't get them into that situation in those games. More importantly, Miami, the Cowboys and the Packers threw for 261, 256 and 273 yards respectivly - all more than Young. And yet they all lost. High passing yardage does not equate to wins.
    • Fair point, honestly didn't even realize he was listed as questionable as well, could still be for both of them in case either isn't able to go tomorrow. That Canales said something like "we'll check him out tomorrow to make sure he's able to go" still makes me think they were still expecting him to play, as that would be a weird way to phrase it if they felt he was more likely to not be playing. Still just hoping it would be like when a player feels something in a game, gets checked out, but goes back in.  And since it was just practice, once he felt anything, they just shut him down for the day to be safe.
    • The Golden Calf of Bristol was Mr Clutch time.  It’s the Skip Bayless argument.  Someone how being trash all game doesn’t matter….if you can cherry pick one random play late
