Article about the Giants

It looks as if their players don't really seem worried about there loss against the cowboys. The have a flippant attitude about losing 2 in a row. Like it won't happen. And once again, not one mention about the big game sunday night against us... Unbelievable!!

You could see the visual, cringing, familiar effects all over the face of always cautious, rarely optimistic head coach Tom Coughlin. He's a man who doesn't seem to take anything for granted. He doesn't care that his New York Giants are reigning Super Bowl champions, and pays no attention to those who possess that "been-there, done-that" mentality for his team as a perfect excuse for their nonchalance. Instead, he's not shy about telling anyone, "This is not a good time for us to be playing this way. I'm very concerned."

Give him credit for being a lone ranger.

Barely anyone else inside the Giants' locker room seemed worried at all following their 20-8 loss to the host Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night.

Not Jerry Reese, the team's general manager. Not Antonio Pierce, wearing the almost obligatory smirk on his face, as if to say, "Go ahead! Doubt us again!" Not even Amani Toomer, the veteran wideout who's probably suffered more than anyone else these past two weeks -- outside of quarterback Eli Manning -- since Toomer's been asked to pick up the slack in the absence of suspended wideout Plaxico Burress.

    • I think in all honestly, the final 2 games are carrying most of the weight in a lot of Bryce talk IMO.    During the window where he "blew it out of the water" window......were a lot of games where he was not above average.  AZ is largely one of those stat sheet games.   Where the stat sheet reflects QB play that didn't exist in the game.  That game was all Chuba.  Meh vs Dallas.  Meh vs Philly.  Meh vs Giants.  Probably average vs Tampa, Den, Saints.  Bryce made HUGE strides vs what he was.  We should be happy.   But when you start comparing him to the rest of the league.....people I think are going too far.  His best aspect in reality.....is his scrambling.  And that's probably not a great thing give his size.
    • Mays and Zavala looked lost in the Reich offense.  Granted Zalava was probably playing too soon due to injuries but he looked terrible.  This new staff seems to be doing well with our OL.  I also wonder if having two vets in Hunt and Lewis just made life that much easier on whoever was/is playing center.
    • What the Panthers should target in order (via free agency or via trade): 1. Julian Blackmon  2. Mike Hilton 3. Jaire Alexander 4. Jalen Ramsey
