if Trey Flowers /Arkansas could just...run fast(er). The kid is all football player.

"The 2015 NFL Draft is loaded at the defensive end position. With guys like Randy Gregory, Shane Ray, Alvin Dupree and so many more, it’s easy to see why many teams are going to come away with a stud pass rusher. However, for the teams that may be out of range to draft a top defensive end prospect, they will have an excellent alternative option in the second round in a guy like Trey Flowers ... Flowers could easily be a left defensive end in a 4-3 scheme... Flowers said: "If I can learn four defenses in four years it shows how coachable I am and the different schemes that I’m accustomed to."... If Flowers turns heads with a good combine performance, he could very well end up as a top-45 pick."

One of my favorite/most underrated players in the draft. Time

to wake up on Trey Flowers !!!

One of the most underrated prospects in this draft...It's not out of my realm of imagination that Flowers could develop into..a Charles Johnson. 2012 - Frank Alexander (4 yr contract) - FA after 2015 sesson

2013 - Wes Horton (3 yr contract) - FA after 2015 season

2014 - Kony Ealy (4 yr contract)

2014 - Mario Addison (2 yr extension) - FA after 2016 season

both 2013 and 2014 - restructured Charles Johnson's contract - if we cut CJ after 2015 season (when CJ turns 30), we free up $11M in cap space. But we can always restructure his contract/have him agree to a whole new contract

I have been on this kid's bandwagon for awhile now. He plays with the intensity and strength we need on the edge. He looks like a guy Gettleman would salivate over.

Gettleman said in January: “If there’s a quality defensive end or defensive lineman there, it’s hard for me to pass him up.”

There aren’t many high-production defensive ends (likely to be available at #25 or later) who can play in a 4-3 defense. Still, a few players fit the model of productive 4-3 defensive end at the NFL level. UCLA’s Owa Odighizuwa, Arkansas’ Trey Flowers and Mississippi State’s Preston Smith are all players who at least look the part..."
