If all these guys are on the board? Parker by a mile

Yeah.  I was going for anyone that could be in play just to get a consensus on the 1st round talent overall.  Some may go as high as 10-15 or as low as R2.  Probably could add a few but I'm thinking anyone else would have no votes.  Kinda shows how big of a cluster the mid R1-R2 talent is this year.

I thought about it. If a few people agree with ya I'll add him.

Personally, I don't see much difference between him and Tart at SS (except Tartt is more ready for the role in the NFL imo)...or even Kwon Alexander for that matter at OLB. Have been thinking he's a 2nd/3rd rounder for a bit.

Don't think we'd use him as an OLB but as a S

you should have added a bunch more. Crazy narrow selection you put together there. And no way Parker falls to us. Crazy you put him on there

Crazy.

How is putting 15+ prospects of 32 1st round selections crazy narrow?  Also, that's narrow but I should take a guy off the list? Gurley, Peat, and Dupree could very well go before him. I can add some more if you wanna suggest anyone.

I don't see much difference between Landon Collins or Tartt, but Shaq is a much better prospect for us than those two

15 is crazy narrow. 30 would probably be too narrow. 50 would be more realistic. All of those other than Parker might fall to us. And you never know, I'll give Parker a 10% percent chance because you never know

I dunno what it is but just don't get what people see in Thompson.  Though, enough analysts and scouts seem to like him so I'll hold off making any declaration about the guy.  I just think if he wasn't in that RB role he would be viewed way differently. Not saying he's bad or will be a bust, he could be very good but just think Tartt, Landon, and Shaq all have around the same value from my perspective.

Fair enough. Agree to disagree.

    • it's pretty simple IMO.  The Tepper Panthers are the most unsuccessful professional sports in all of sports.  The problem isn't the posters here have changed.  The product dictates the atmosphere more than anything.  In reality, the daily convos about THE worst team in all of pro sports on a fanatics site....is going to feature harsh and critical convo.  Only one entity can actually change that.  It's the Carolina Panthers football team.
    • Yes message boards will always include that sort of stuff… However, this place has been a cess pool since the team took Bryce Young over CJ Stroud. It becomes a problem when it is accepted and promoted, which it has been here (even by at least one mod). Many posters sole purpose on this board is to try to dunk on others for having different opinions. We just had one write a novella on how talking about Bryce Young’s game winning drives “needs to stop”…after a win. They don’t want real conversation. It “needs to stop”. There are many posters here who literally only show up after losses to dead thread and try to dunk on others about the QB (MRenshaw is an easy example). I really don’t see much of that happening the other way around. There’s too many people that would rather the team be bad so they can feel justified for constant doom and gloom and negative opinions. It’s been pointed out by many over the past couple years. This just isn’t a place to have football discussions anymore because of the constant hyperbole. If you don’t subscribe to “Bryce Young is the worst QB ever who can’t throw the ball further than 5 yards and is the reason why we lose any game we lose and doesn’t help in any game we win”, then you are labeled a Bryce Young Stan.
    • if you believe he is watching every NFL game.....every week.....go right ahead.  I get it, he said something you like.  But that's like believing the talking heads on the ESPN shows are watching all the games.  You think Stephen A is watching the Panthers every Sunday too?  If Stephen A needs to go on First Take he certainly can pretend like he has watched every snap any player on the roster has taken lol.   No one is that isn't a Panther fan has been watching the 9-25 career go down every Sunday.  Or even a lot of Sunday's.  You know who knows more about Bryce Young than Long? The collective huddle.  What they are reviewing is stat sheets, highlights and in summaries.  It's an old formula lol.
