I agree with Garica on this one. Just look at how he compares to the rest our  starting D. I don't think it's a slight against him, just stating facts.

Panthers had the #2 defense in the NFL in 2013 with Drayton Florence, Melvin White, and Captain Munnerlyn as their starting corners.

Bene is extremely talented. He was one of the best rookies in the NFL his first year if I remember correctly. I know he was ranked nationally somehow.

Now, setting that praise aside, he was the textbook "JAG" his entire career.  Now, anyone who even makes it to the NFL is in the very top tier of football players, but him putting a guy down like Bene down is disappointing to me.

I have to disagree on the Benwikere assessment...AND on your comment about Frank Garcia.  I have never met Garcia and he may be a great guy and all but to me he comes across as a know-it-all, arrogant hack on radio.  Maybe it's just me but I can't stand listening to him or his show.  Sorry to all of the Garcia lovers....
