Marcus with the bat antics prior to the Giants game (which hurt OBJ's tender little feelings).

Now his little brother at Memphis...

The University of Memphis has removed cornerback Reggis Ball from the Memphis football team.

Memphis lost the Birmingham Bowl, and after the game, they lost their cool.

“I want to personally apologize to Jay Jacobs, Gus Malzahn, the Auburn Football team, its fans and the Birmingham Bowl for the highly-inappropriate actions of one of my student-athletes regarding a game ball at the end of Wednesday’s game,” said Tom Bowen, Director of Athletics at the University of Memphis. “This player’s actions are totally unacceptable. He has been immediately removed from the team and we will continue to move swiftly in addressing what occurred.

Ball was seen after the game stealing the game ball away from an Auburn athletic trainer.

Damn, son... lol.

I don't think anyone was hurt.  But there was a scuffle and the equipment manager and Ball went to the ground.

The (supposedly) after he got the ball and was running to his locker room, he left the Auburn equipment managers with the gift of his middle finger.  BTW the ball he got wasn't even a game ball, it was the practice kicking ball.

Was this assault deserving of charge and conviction?  Nah.  Just a dumb, stupid thing to do.  The equipment he took didn't belong to him, it belonged to Auburn University (both teams bring their own balls).  One of his own team's footballs wasn't good enough for him, he had to have one that was NOT his.

But, like I said in the OP, it just seems being a knucklehead runs in the family.
