I grew up before the era of participation trophies. You either won or went home empty handed. None of us thought it should be any other way.

My daughter has been playing travel softball for years. Maybe four years back she tried out for the team (after being on it for 3 years already) and she didn't make it.

As a money grab, the coaches made a "B" team for the people that didn't make the "A" team.

I told my daughter I'm sorry but you didn't make the team this year. We will work hard and tryout next year but you damn sure aren't gonna be on some consolation team.

She has made it to the real squad every year since. Her mom was soooo mad at me but I was like hell no is a kid of mine gonna be on some after thought team. You got me fuged up.

Work hard. Get better. Profit.

Thats how we do it.

All I'm seeing on here is a bunch of talk. Listen..Seattle is a damn good team and they have been to the last two SUPER BOWLS and they have a TROPHY to prove it.

The Panthers are not going to win because everyone on this message can talk smack.

BOA STADIUM IS GOING TO BE FULL OF REAL DIE HARD SEATTLE FANS AND PANTHER FANS ARE GOING TO BE HOME WATCHING THE GAME.

I've looked on line (STUBHUB,TICKETMASTER) and there are plenty of tickets for sell. You're going to have to spend some cash to get a ticket to go to this game, but we want get a second chance. We don't get a do over and it might be 20 years before we have another team this good.

IT'S ONE AND DONE TIME. IF WE DON'T WIN WE GO HOME.

SO TAKE ALL THAT MERCHANDISE YOU HAVE BEEN BUYING FOR THE LAST MONTH BACK TO THE STORE AND USE YOU MONEY TO GET A TICKET. FILL THE SEATS WITH TRUE PANTHER FANS.

WHAT MORE CAN I SAY. I HOPE THIS GETS SOMEBODY FIRED UP.

*************************GO PANTHERS************************

Dont worry we'll show you sunday , ball aint gonna lie this time.

"Please Panthers fans go to the game. Its extremely important and stuff"

*brags about selling tickets to highest bidders*

I'm sure you'll vouch for the buyer's integrity as a Panthers fan. And that's not sarcasm, I legtimately expect the next thing you'll say is "of course I would only sell to Panthers fans!"

Which means one of two things: you care more about profit than giving real fans a break from regular scalping, or you're completely lying and just sold to whoever you could find, loyalties be damned.

There's not a midground here, and you're a piece of poo either way.

    • Best birthday present ever!
    • People were discussing the new backup QB in comparison the the starter.  Neither has anything close to a cannon.  Video was posted of them throwing.  If people can’t be free to express their opinions without being put on a list of posters who have ruined this place we have a bad situation here. People trying to silence  criticism of the QB.    Maybe actually post about the other players instead of about the other posters. That is where it went off the rails.
    • That's true and we're definitely going to hear more about it as summer progresses. But at the end of the day all of the progress we've made on the roster as a whole will only matter if our passing offense can emerge from the basement of the NFL. In 2023 it was 32 out of 32 in 2024 it was 30th out of 32 and last year it was 26th out of 32. And early in the season we relied heavily on a career year from Rico Dowdle who is no longer on the roster. This is only reinforced by the fact that we (depending on how one views it) effectively took playcalling out of Dave Canales hands and brought in another offensive mind. The elephant in the room isn't going anywhere no matter how much we may not like it.
