NASCAR community (yes, including Dale Jr.) rooting for Panthers

At the NASCAR media tour this week in Charlotte, several NASCAR drivers were talking about rooting for the Panthers. Brian Scott and Ty Dillon were at the NFC Divisional Playoff last Sunday. Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson and Dale Earnhardt Jr. are also cheering for the Panthers. I don't think Jr knew Whisky River even hosted a Seahawks event.

Regardless, he talked for a couple minutes about the impact of Charlotte hosting the NFC championship, how he's become good friends with Greg Olsen and is hoping the Panthers win on Sunday.

not much of a NASCAR fan but that's cool....

has Ric Flair jumped back on the bandwagon yet? I'm still irked about his 49ers heel turn from two years back.

doubtful

Not every NASCAR driver cheers for the Panthers. Kasey Kahne is a Seahawks fan still, since he's from Washington. Regan Smith and Kyle Busch like the Broncos, Stewart likes the Colts

    • Who were we going to trade up with? The Dolphins wanted Proctor, the Rams were vehement on taking Ty Simpson, the Ravens wanted Ioane, and the Bucs werent trading with us except for maybe a kings ransom. Even if we wanted to move, we had no partner. Moot point.
    • Devin Lloyd is a stud lb but who is next to him? Prince and Nic should improve. Lee was super value but i am not counting this fourth round chicken yet. I would expect some improvement; hope to eat my words w/ a top ten D.
    • I mean I agree about diminished Cam probably still being viable. Even though it gave a preview of how teams would defend the pass against a limited QB. There was an issue with the upcoming contract he was due to get and his expectations vs the new reality of his physical status - that people tend to  overlook when looking back on it  It had an effect on things I believe   But I do have to ask… what about Tepper’s second major move? fuging clueless   I mean I would take even an injured  Cam over Bryce all day long.
