Quarterbacks we can afford?

This just confirms my theory that McNabb is the most hated and underrated quarterback in this league. Who in their right mind would rather have two mediocre quarterbacks instead of a franchise quarterback?

I just don't understand the hate people have for McNabb. I think he's right around a top five quarterback.

he doesn't have the same leadership skills a Manning, Favre, Brady, Rivers QB has. Sometimes he shows his butt too, kinda Kayne West like in a way.

I don't want to "afford" anyone. I want to actually do what 99% of other succesful teams do and DRAFT A GOOD QB. I'm sick of watching teams like the Jets and the Ravens do what it takes to move up and get a QB when we won't even consider the idea.

We make trades on draft day all the time and we NEVER make a trade to get a talented player at the most important position in sports. So enough with the talk of guys like Derek Anderson and Brian Brohm. I don't want the scraps from the Browns/Packers table. I want a LEGITIMATE drafted superstar QB that this franchise has really never had.

Don has better or equal leadership to everyone you named on that list. I cant believe you would still consider Favre a "leader" after the past 4 years. Rivers doesnt deserve to be mentioned with those guys yet, sorry. When he gets to a Super Bowl and makes it to a few conference championships, maybe, but right now, hell nah. I'd put Rothlisberger above everyone on your list except Brady.

Favre is a leader? The man created a rift in the Jets lockerroom last year and never really bonded with his teammates. He might have been a leader in Green Bay, but not anymore. He's a leader of one person: himself.

I also find it comical that you state Donovan McNabb "shows his butt" right after you mention Rivers, who has more than once displayed "attitude problems," including toward fans. Steve Smith has been known to "show his butt" every now and then, and he's one of the best in the league at his position.
