Does this team become a legendary team if we win the SB convincingly?

Everything I've read on this topic comes back to one recurring theme: winning one Super Bowl doesn't make your team a legacy.

Consistency in getting to the Super Bowl? Consistency in winning the conference? -- that is what cements a team's legacy.

If we can't show that regular winning pattern year after year after year, then all we have is a single year's GREAT team.

(winning NFC South 3x in a row, considering the division, isn't exactly legacy-building)

Sure, this makes sense, but look at the 85 Bears.  They didn't get to another Super Bowl, but they're certainly legendary.  Sometimes the quality of a single team (especially based on the strength of the coach & personalities) is enough to make it legendary regardless of the future of the franchise.

I think the 80's Bears are a legacy because; Tecmo Bowl.

Disagree.

The 85 Bears are iconic because of one very special season.

The fact that we have a connection to them, and a team with a unique personality like theirs, makes me think winning this game will write the ending to a phenomenal story.
