I am currently openly considering quiting my current job and taking a much worse job(pay/benefit wise) just so I can be rid of he headache and bs at work.

only reason I haven't quit yet is because I know if I were to quick it would be bad for many reasons, like pay/bills/job sec/benefits

but I honestly don't know how much more I can stand the constant BS I'm dealing with at work.

Anyone ever make a similar choice? And thoughts??

I made the same choice a few years ago and it was tough.  I was of the mind that you only live once and if you hate your job no matter how much it pays it just isn't worth it to me.  I'd rather be poor and happy (relatively speaking) than rich and miserable.  It's a choice not to be taken lightly, that should go without saying, so just make sure you know what your priorities are in life before making drastic decisions.

Have a good job in hand, and make sure you have at least 6 months living expenses saved up.

I have made this choice 5 times in my 13 year career, some have turned out good, some terrible.  The latest (Jan of 16) is making me nervous, but I've only been here for 2 months so far.
