I think we're more likely to trim down on RBs if we add another TE, as one of the TEs will play a lot of fullback.

3 QB, 4 RB, 4 TE, 6 WR, 9 OL = 26 offense

4 DT, 5 DE, 6 LB, 5 CB, 4 S = 24 defense

+ 3 specialists = 53 total

So I'm still in the 6 WR bandwagon.

I'm thinking we'll do 10 DL (5 DE's & 5 DT's).  We all saw what happened last season in the 4th quarter when our d-line got completely gassed.  Could use the extra DT.

I like it, and think it's very possible.

RB:  We're presumably looking at Stew, Tolbert & CAP + 1.

I do hope we keep 9 OL.  At the moment it's not at all clear we have a #9 who'd really add much as a backup.  That's a missing piece still.  I'm hoping that our inactivity at this position means that they see something very promising in one of the fairly unknown guys we already have (someone like Yankey) and that we'll all be positively surprised during the preseason.

Dline:  I agree the 4 DT / 5 DE split is most likely.  Doesn't bode well for Kyle Love.

That 6th WR spot will possibly be competing against a 6th CB spot or possibly even a 7th LB spot.   Basically it depends on who shows out in pre-season and who we feel we can't afford to lose.   Also, a lot depends on Special Teams, how the rookie CBs develop, and also what DG and coaches are thinking about NEXT YEAR for the LBs (i.e. finding someone to groom to replace AJ Klein)
