Yeah, Apparently Ron said they're changing BOTH the offense & defensive calls largely because of him, says Harper is so smart, knows both sets of calls really well.... The things you don't think of when you let a savvy vet go and he returns to an arch foe!

I don't get the change the calls thing.  You could just as easily change the action associated with those calls, which would be even more difficult for the defense to figure out.  It's one thing when the opposition doesn't know, it's an entirely different story when they THINK they know.

It's a lot harder to rename something to a term you know than to call it something else entirely. Your memory will want to associate the word with the old play instead of the new one. Better to use a fresh word than to reshuffle old ones.
