he was good enough to deserve a starting gig somewhere (not here).

he wanted to start and deserved more money than we could afford and more opportunities to start than we could provide.

glad he got what he wanted/deserved.

just watch out for him in training camp. he gets in at least one fight every year.

Im pretty sure he did get into one this year. He seems tough unlike the past fatass Buffalo o-lineman like dockery, walker, fowler, and preston.

I never heard of him before this season and was worried he was another tutan reyes.

Another good use of that 17 million. We could have used the extra picks as well.
ugh....peppers contract had nothing to do with him staying. he wanted a starting job somewhere and that wasn't going to happen here.

peppers deal messed up a lot of stuff but that one was going to happen one way or another.

Nah thats one position I think our new OC does a good job developing. Unlike QB.

I meant we could have used it on our oline depth. And he probably would have stayed if we matched the Bills' offer.

    • Apparently CSW lost his starting job to Thornton last year. If he can stay healthy I bet Thornton keeps that NB position.
    • I member him staying after practices with only to see he was wearing heavy weight vest, one of his trademarks. He also put in 10 years, right? People forget he was the ST stud that called the snap and made sure everyone lined up right. He was one of the "glue" guys that bought his "lunch pail" to work.... He was a willing solider, all teams need a couple of them. He blocked for sooo many panthers RBs- Davis, lane, Williams, foster, goings and when there was huge injuries he took over the starter duties and had a couple 100 yard games. If you followed hoover, he took the perfect RB path cause he was just a slow heavy one himself....
    • Walker likely depends on a couple of things. What exactly did Dan promise him, to start with.  How much other interest he actually had for a starter job at high pay is another question. It isn’t outside the realm of possibility that he could stay on as a swing tackle waiting to take Moton’s spot when it opens.    I can’t get myself to consider Icky as a viable anything until we see him back on the field.     Hunt seems to be a team player and good guy but I don’t think he is worth what he is being paid. I have him tentatively earmarked for cap causality in the near future.
