Yeah, I got my fingers crossed for some sort of decent weather at least at some point during my stay.

As far as what we are into, really anything, really just looking for things that I cant get out here in the midwest, so pretty much anything lol.  Just trying to hear the good places from the people that have been there and not leave myself to random google searches and yelp reviews.

If you're just looking for something chill to do with your girl, go to Wrightsville Beach and go for a walk on Johnny Mercer's Pier. Pay $4 and go for a stroll on the pier (it's pretty long) and watch the surfers, you definitely can't get that in the midwest.

Go have an appetizer or two with some cocktails at Dockside, especially if pretty and sit outside.  If not, sit in the bar area and check out the boats.  Not great food for a "dinner" IMO.

Take a walk on the river walk downtown, if you like Tex/Mex try Beer Barrio for some good food downtown.

Want a great restaurant to take the lady to that you won't see very often?  Try Caprice Bistro, don't leave without getting the escargot.

Take her to Kilwins for desert.

Battleship is cool if you are into history, as well as Fort Fisher if you have plenty of time.

Go to the aquarium at Carolina Beach and take the ferry to Southport from there and just walk around a bit.

I rarely watch the games out somewhere, but depending on where you are staying, I can offer up a couple places.

If you are into craft beers, check out Fermental and Lighthouse.

Craft cocktail, weird place, downtown?  Try the Blind Elephant.

Or go sit at Oceanic and do the same over beer or two.

These are all awesome suggestions and have really helped out, appreciate it, got a good list goin of places to check out. Should be a good week.

Good deal.

Also, if you want to a workout and a great spot for views, hit the loop one afternoon at Wrightsville, especially if it's warm and sunny.......trust me.

    • Lil Stanky 100% in the dot tonight... And our 2nd line has been our best offensive line this season. Maybe our 2C really was on the roster this whole time...?
    • That’s a grade I kind of expected tbh. I’m not a huge fan of NS, but he’s not as bad as what the huddle says he is minus the horrible game he had vs the Rams. I’ve always thought he’s often used as a scapegoat. The improved pass rush should hide his deficiencies a little bit better if he’s the game one starter. FS might have to be a position we punt on this year unless Thieneman falls to us at 19. The reality is, you're going to have a few average players in certain spots for a team with as many holes we had before free agency started. You can’t sign everyone.
    • I am by no means trying to say he's a world beater. I'm saying it's trending in the right direction. Especially when measured against himself.i think the team feel the same way or else they wouldn't have picked up his option. Plus I think there is a new idea in the NFL about these young QBs. Teams give up to soon. Browns gave up to soon on baker same with the jets on Geno and darnold. Maybe they are who you thought they were in the draft process and they need more time to develop than you originally planned. Either way. I do think he is as capable as darnold is as far as you can win a championship with him. And something he does have that darnold doesn't is he is clutch.  If I need one more drive and 2 mins to go I'm betting on Bryce and I am far from a homer, just going off his game winning drives. He has that dog in him on the last drive.
