Having a consistent system is why Cam had so great a year last year.  Change for quarterbacks is often bad news. Truth is Shula changed the whole running game after KB went down in 2015.  I love how people make stuff up when the truth is completely different.

Cam has been in the same system for 5 years.  He knows the playbook and is supposed to audiblize into the best option based on what he sees from the defense.  And the truth is he did it very well last year.  The offense is the same.  For some reason, Cam is not.....

I said it over and over, and I'll say it again.

I truly believe KB is poison for Cam. Not taking anything from KB. He's an amazing WR, and I love him to death, but he's just not good for Cam. I truly believe that.

Shut up already.

Last year was last year. When Denver exposed Shula/this offense, things should have been changed. Cam is still not getting plays in on time and has been seen early in the season yelling at coaches about it. It's a little of him and a little of Shula. It's okay to admit that Shula shares some blame. What we did last year obviously isn't working this year. If Shula were good, he would've switched things up. Cams game has to evolve and won't under Shula. Last year is dead and gone. Not winning us games.

Give me a break.  Shut up already??? When you keep spouting ignorant accusations that have no basis.  Please.............

We have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that the play is called in with at least 15 seconds if not more.  When DA runs the same offense that Cam ran he gets the players to the line and calls a plays with plenty of time.  The only difference is Cam.  Shula has switched things up like changing the offense last night by having the receivers get to their spots quicker because DA releases the ball quicker.  We used more power running given that our tackles were struggling in zone blocking the past 2 games.  The point is we change things up every game.

My point was that you dont have to simplify playcalling one year to accommodate a playcaller that already knows the plays and is comfortable in the system. Cam game has evolved this year unfortunately from good to bad.  And it hasnt been Shula's fault.  That is the truth that people like you cant stand but it is still true.

If KB is poison maybe that explains why Cam didnt target him once against the Vikings. A great mystery solved.  I thought it was Shula's fault.

Did you also notice DA almost never audibles maybe that's why we had a good amount of time but the real question here is......

DID ANY OF THE EXTRA PLAY CLOCK HELP US WIN

Sent from my iPhone using CarolinaHuddle

I would say it actually helped us lose. Rivera wouldn't have had the time outs to use during the bucs 2 minute drill.

    • CB Michael Jackson, Carolina Panthers Last offseason, the Panthers re-signed Jackson to a contract that averages just $5.25 million across the two years of his deal, which ranks only 40th among cornerbacks. However, Jackson rewarded Carolina with an excellent season, as his 83.5 PFF overall grade was the third-best among cornerbacks across the entire year. More specifically, from Week 7 on, his 90.7 PFF overall grade led all players at the position, as did his 91.4 PFF coverage grade. In addition, he also allowed a passer rating of just 42.8 during this period, which paced all corners. Jackson capped off his 2025 campaign by being the best player on the field in Carolina’s wild-card loss to the Rams. On eight targets, he gave up just one reception while forcing four incompletions and recording an interception as well https://www.pff.com/news/biggest-free-agent-bargains-of-the-2025-nfl-season-sam-darnold-mike-jackson-and-more
    • RB Rico Dowdle, Carolina Panthers Dowdle signed a textbook example of a “prove-it” type of deal with Carolina during the 2025 offseason. The former Dallas Cowboys runner signed a one-year deal that was worth just $2.75 million, which ranked only 33rd among the annual average earnings of all running backs — essentially meaning that he was not paid as a starter for last season. However, that did not stop Dowdle from racking up the 14th-most rushing yards among running backs with 1,076 during the regular season. Further, Dowdle was essential over a five-week stretch between Weeks 5-9 when the Panthers went 4-1 — recording half of their wins during the entire season over that window. During this period, his 652 rushing yards led all running backs, with the gap between him and the second player (Jonathan Taylor) being the equivalent to the gap between Taylor and the 10th running back. In addition, Dowdle’s 85.0 PFF rushing grade also led the league during this period. Despite not being paid as a starter, Dowdle had a huge impact on the Panthers during a crucial time of the season
