At this point, our draft pick will probably be between 12 and 20, so posting top 5 guys might be fun, but not realistic.

Now, if Cam goes on IR or some other crippling things, then Garrett might enter the conversation.

The Tennessee DE might be more in our range "at this point"

that might be their plan . They aren't making moves  to save our season so it looks like we are in tanking mode

I don't think we have to tank. Our defensive secondary will do all the tanking for us. If we didn't beat the Saints or Bucs who the hell do you think we will beat the rest of the season? We are playing against teams like Cardinals, Chargers, Raiders, and play the Saints , Falcons, and Bucs again all of whom we lost to already. I could see is winning against the Bucs and maybe the Rams but that's about it. We face some pretty damn competent offenses with an ultra shitty defense for the rest of the season, which means plenty more Ls .

      That’s a grade I kind of expected tbh. I’m not a huge fan of NS, but he’s not as bad as what the huddle says he is minus the horrible game he had vs the Rams. I’ve always thought he’s often used as a scapegoat. The improved pass rush should hide his deficiencies a little bit better if he’s the game one starter. FS might have to be a position we punt on this year unless Thieneman falls to us at 19. The reality is, you're going to have a few average players in certain spots for a team with as many holes we had before free agency started. You can’t sign everyone.

      I am by no means trying to say he's a world beater. I'm saying it's trending in the right direction. Especially when measured against himself.i think the team feel the same way or else they wouldn't have picked up his option. Plus I think there is a new idea in the NFL about these young QBs. Teams give up to soon. Browns gave up to soon on baker same with the jets on Geno and darnold. Maybe they are who you thought they were in the draft process and they need more time to develop than you originally planned. Either way. I do think he is as capable as darnold is as far as you can win a championship with him. And something he does have that darnold doesn't is he is clutch.  If I need one more drive and 2 mins to go I'm betting on Bryce and I am far from a homer, just going off his game winning drives. He has that dog in him on the last drive.
