Sorry, but you are describing casual fans. Those fans that know we have a team, and will back them if asked. Otherwise, they spend very little time even thinking about the team. If their friends watch the game they do. If their friends go to the game, they will. But as a whole. They have better things to do.

 

They make up a small percentage of the actual fan base.

 

There are literally 100,000s of Panther fans that would die if Cam left. They would voice their displeasure to the NFL about how Cam is getting treated. If they only knew how.

 

No fan roots for mediocrity. They want the best. If you are satisfied with mediocrity. You are a casual fan. There is a difference.
