I'm as hopeful, and as loyal a fan as any, but even on our best days we aren't beating anyone in the playoffs, this just isn't the season, we were blessed with limited injuries last season, and this year just over half way through we suffered so many more at a myriad of positions. We're 3-6, and we're not going to win 7 straight games. The team, and the personnel available is too inconsistent.

I don't want another 7-8-1 type season where we back into the playoffs, I'd much rather we play for the draft picks, as much as I like and trust Gettleman, we have GLARING holes on the roster specifically T/DE/Secondary. And while I like the young pieces, we have no depth anywhere, not at any positions excluding WR/DT/LB. All other position groups are devoid of depth talent. We've all witnessed that with injuries to Oher, Stewart, and the defensive secondary.

While I want to see a run as bad as anyone, because trust me it sucks to watch my favorite team lose, I'd much rather see us be able to address positions of need via the draft, as it's been proven that we aren't ever gonna shop at Tiffany's, and I'm fine with that, but we need to have better prospects coming in. And while big men allow you to compete, it's often the little men that win the games (Eric Berry & Marcus Peters).

I hear you but I have never given up until we are mathematically out of it.

We are two games out of 1st in our division.  We still have to play Atlanta again.  We are 4 last minute loses from being 7-2.   WE have been competitive.  Just gotta get on a roll.   Start on Thursday beat the ain'ts. and those next two will be good gauges on where we are. 

While the light at the end of the tunnel is getting very small.   I won't give up.

I haven't given up, I'm looking at the best outcome for moving forward, to me that is to tank, no BPA at a position of need is going to last into the mid to late 20's and also combine as BPA.
