Coaches tried to get the best players on the field but opposing teams attacked the Panthers where they here forced to go to weaker position. 

Ex. The Raiders game Ron wanted Shaw on the field on 4-3 and Buffalo package but Raidefs came out with 5 WR that forced us to go nickel which being the weakes personnel for the Panthers thanks to Dave Gettleman 

Dumbest thread?  Harsh.  You are absolutely correct the free agency / draft didn't turn out the way we all wanted, but I stand by what I said.  At the time - we wanted to sign Short..we needed Norman's money.  We didn't know we weren't going to get the pressure needed so rookie DB could make plays.  We/Gettleman took a chance our Oline - who went 15-1 - would be 'good' enough.  I guess we can agree to disagree...the only lack of talent I see is our O coordinator and Special Teams....

I tell you what I do have and it's about 4 grand extra a year. Watching at home or a bar is much cheaper and is almost as much fun.

Agreed on all the it's not life points. This season feels bitterly disappointing to me however because the pieces were there to at least get to the playoffs.  Poor coaching and management doomed that.
