This team went 12-4 last year people. We did lose some players, but this team is almost a mirror of last years team.We all knew when the schedule came out and ours was 2nd toughest in league,it would not be easy. But don't give up.I will not give up if we lose monday. We are to good of a football team not to win alot of games.

dude seriously, you're trying too hard. i don't think anyone questions your grit as a fan... and honestly i wish more people on this board/at the stadium would grow some balls and live and die by the black and blue as you clearly do.

but posting asinine redundant threads and starting giant fights that you are clearly getting owned in is doing nothing for the board, for you, or for the carolina panthers. back off a little, post some thoughtful opinions on some topics that've already been created, and help out that way. hope to see you stick around and make the Huddle a better place. :cheers2:

    • Why would we not be contenders? As long as Bryce plays like he did when he came back, we absolutely can be contenders...that is...   if the defense plays better... which is why adding someone like Ramsey when we have a QB on a rookie deal and can afford it makes sense IMO. No one thought of the Commanders being contenders last year or the Texans the year before and so on and so forth. Top-end QB play, especially for a guy on a rookie deal, changes everything in terms of timelines. Regardless of what this board thinks, I hope the front office is willing to he aggressive in thks window we currently have with a rookie QB deal
    • Would absolutely love to have him. I dont think he would require more than a 5th rounder. The biggest thing with his contract is the amount of guaranteed money. As long as they can work out and scenario where the Panthers aren't on the hook for a lot of that, I think it's a no-brainer. The Panthers can come up with $20M at the drop of a hat with restructuring Moton's contract, so there definitely isn't an issue from a money perspective. Jaycee paired with Ramsey along with Mike Jack would give us one of the best CB groups in the league. The one caveat I see is that safety still remains our biggest current weakness. We need a starting caliber S more than CB, simply put. But adding someone like Ramsey would be amazing as long as the compensation made sense. Ramsey could also play for FS snaps also. I also dont understand this nonsense about being seasons away. We have a QB on a rookie deal who was playing at an elite level to end last season. Within reason, now is absolutely the time to make moves like trading for Ramsey.
    • He'd be a huge upgrade for this year, but we're still not going to be contenders with him and I'd rather keep the cap space to roll into next season to spend on a younger player who can be an impact starter for us for the next 3-5 years while we're hoping to contend.
