Not complaining, we got bounced early in the tournament. Its just interesting that when a team benefits from bad calls they say it affected both programs(which it did) but if the roles were reversed and UNC had lost this board would be up in arms about it. Just trying to figure out if its gleeful indifference or unintentional ignorance. Both of which are fine since all fan bases go through both depending on the outcome but there really isn't any remorse at all that the game wasn't won straight up?

And again, not disputing that Carolina won the national championship. Save the "Duke fan complaining" comments.

Game wasn't won straight up? Ok....you're definitely just trolling here. Nice job.

Straight up as in a clean game without an abundance of foul calls. Not all of the bigs for both teams in foul trouble and Gonzaga with players on the bench. In short, there isn't any remorse that the game was so affected by poor officiating? Way to jump to conclusions though. If I wanted to troll I would go with the generic comments about how banners are going to be taken away when the NCAA finishes their investigation like most Duke fans do.

Not sure what you're looking for here.

Was the game poorly officiated? Absolutely.

Were there calls that affected the momentum of the game for both teams? 100%

Was that 4th foul on Collins bogus? Totally

Do I feel remorse because Gonzaga experienced a bad call so late in the game? Hell no.

Does the fact that the refs ruined this game change the outcome? Only to Duke fans

It took you like 6 posts to answer one question lol. Thank you for your opinion. Anyone else?

And for the third time, not disputing the outcome. You act like it bothers me that Carolina won. I go to the school and will be here for the next two years. Would I have preferred to see Duke win as a young man who was raised a Devil fan? Absolutely 100%. Am I upset that Carolina won? Not at all. Calm down lol

I couldn't be more calm. Your "points" are just bad.

Meeks had 4. Hicks had 4. Gonzaga was in the double bonus with 10 mins left.

But yeah....Duke fans keep telling us how the calls weren't going both ways.

I literally took time to type out that calls went both ways while also blatantly saying that players for both teams were in foul trouble. Its like you're actually trying to skip parts of my posts.

But here you say "not all of the bigs for

both teams". So which one is it?

As in "a game where not all of the bigs for both teams were in foul trouble." You're misunderstanding me and I should have been clearer. I was typing the same way I talk as opposed to being grammatically correct. I was presenting a scenario where the big men for both teams were not in foul trouble and Gonzaga did not have players on the bench due to fouls.

    • OK, we are letting our top RB go.  We have Chuba, Etienne, and Brooks.  Imagine a player who could LEGITIMATELY play the slot and back up at RB?  I am sure he'd be a special team player as well.  I noticed him at the combine, and thought, "Here is a late rounder who could stand out as a slot and provide depth at RB. Without further ado....(I know one Huddler who might be able to tell us more about this guy): Navy running back/wide receiver Eli Heidenreich headlined the 2026 NFL Combine for the Midshipmen, running an official 4.44-second 40-yard dash and recording 16 reps on the bench press. Recognized as a versatile, "Swiss army knife" offensive weapon, Heidenreich solidified his draft stock as a potential day three target.    Eli Heidenreich (RB/WR - Navy) 2026 Combine Performance: 6'0" 200 lbs.   40-Yard Dash: 4.44 seconds. 10-Yard Split: 1.55 seconds. Vertical Jump: 35.5 inches. Broad Jump: 10' 0". Bench Press: 16 Reps. Highlights: Showcased as a premier receiving threat from the backfield, having left Navy as the program's all-time leader in receiving yards (1,994). High character.  Smart.  Maybe, just maybe....
    • These refs are horrible.  They definitely got money on this game lol.
    • I don’t think the concept is bad thinking. That money this year is a ball buster, for getting nothing out of it.    gives him a little future location security and maybe hope that if he can get back we’ll pay him, with a renegotiation. Could give us some relief this year. That is kind of creative.
