Washington's John Ross, one of the 2017 NFL Draft's top WRs, will have surgery to repair a torn labrum in his shoulder, but not until after the NFL Scouting Combine (March 3-6 on NFL Network), per NFL Network Insider Ian Rapopo

Ross' agent, Brad Cicala, told Rapoport the former Huskies star will also go through a March 11 pro-day workout before undergoing the procedure a week later. Ross injured the shoulder early in the 2016 season and aggravated it in the Huskies' Dec. 31 College Football Playoff semifinal loss to Alabama, per Rapoport. The news of Ross' surgery was first reported by DraftAnalyst.com.

Ross caught 81 passes for 1,150 yards and 17 touchdowns for the Pac-12 champion Huskies last season, and is considered among the elite prospects at his position for the upcoming draft (April 27-29). He was among the fastest players in college football, and has been compared to the Washington RedskinsDeSean Jackson.

I like Ross a lot, but he has a fairly extensive injury history.

Left ACL tear
Left meniscus
Right meniscus
Microfracture surgery
Shoulder surgery (post-combine)

Does seem a bit injury prone.  Also could be a fluke situation.  He tore his ACL the FIRST day back in spring training from the right knee tear.
