With us changing our scheme a bit.  2 TE sets might not be a bad thing.  But with DG love of Hogmollies it is more than likely we won't but I will not cry in my cornflakes if we do.

Stop spreading false information, he would be on the field for 99% of the snaps.

Its not like DG didn't take certain LB to replace Davis.

The value simply isn't there to draft a #2 TE at that spot. Olsen plays almost every snap. Howard won't. Please explain the value there, numb nuts?

Once again stop lying, the value is there because he is complete TE next best thing since Gronk.

His ability to run the full route tree, elite hands, speed, size, in-line blocking,5-50 ball, catch radius, instincts makes him the perfect TE Shula has been asking to run his scheme properly.

Since panthers are a run first team having a true 2 TE that can catch and block effectively will make this whole offense run smoother keeping the defense from using delayed blitz that killed Cam last year.

I know for a fact Taco Bell isn't in play at 8 either we have that one guy spamming that...

I do think at 8 the choice is harder than it would be at 5 or 6. I could see them taking Howard actually don't know if I would though and it obviously depends on who is there that we passed on to get him.

Generally TEs just aren't a good top 10 pick(just like safety) and like I've said before the last one to pan out was Vernon Davis and his combine was a freak show. 42" vert - yessir, 4.38 40yd dash - yessir, 33 bench reps - yessir. 
OJ had a good one but not legendary.
