Bills are working out top QBs

I think whenever a team doesn't have a QB, you can never rule out a QB. Everyone knows that if you don't have a QB then you don't have a chance. Just look at the Houston Texans in recent years. They'd probably be the Super Bowl favorites if they just had a decent starting QB.

I'm not usually a fan of tradin up, but if we did trade down I could do see us using that capital to move back up into the first with our second pick.

I know the draft value chart isn't ser in stone, but for the heck of it 8-12 is 200 points.

http://walterfootball.com/draftchart.php

200 points = pick 78 in the third round.

pick 78 + pick 40 (500 points) = pick 26

In theory we could trade picks 8 and 40 for 12 and 26.

There are a lot of sceneries I would prefer 12 and 26.

For example McCaffrey and Njoku or Ross and Robinson.  There are definitely some interesting combination that possible could be had with picks 12 and 26.

I put a scenario out there on a recent blog post at PanthersWire. I proposed a trade w/ CLE so they can guarantee their QB du jour and we still get McCaffrey at 12, and we also get their #65 overall.  I then have us move up with the NYG by sending 40, 65 and a late rounder to move up to 23 (and also add a late 4th rounder and 6th rounder coming back to us).

I do believe we are going to trade down if Thomas, Fournette and Adams are gone by #8, and Cleveland will most likely be the team.  So we get their 2nd round pick and their #12 pick and they get our #8 slot.  I say we take Howard at #12 and with our three 2nd round picks, we grab a RB, OT, & DE.  Rest of our picks will be BPA's.  I think most could live with that draft scenario.
