So much for extra practice

This is completely unacceptable, at the very minimum the panthers should be practicing tackling for 5 days. I would like it if they also practiced 3 second passing routes and screens.

This happened last season as well, the panthers went into a

bye week and should have used the 2 weeks to get better,

and game plan for the Cardinals, but they barely practiced

during the bye week.

IMO A change in coaching is needed. Bill Parcells is

determined, and he can be a taskmaster. The panthers need

a coach like him. Someone who believes in hard work

and knows how to win.

Verbatim what I was going to say. This D has look like a decent high school offense could play against them. This D all around looks like it could have been on a Detriot team (before Schwartz).

Fox said it himself. The problems are more mental than physical. He's just using the bye week to mentally figure out where he will physically be after his ass is fired next season.

Some people are saying that he answered more in detail, and wasn't the typical "Foxtalk". Well I don't agree.

It was the same poo, just this time it was more politically correct than anything. All his answers could still be taken a NUMBER of ways if you think about it. A broad number.

well I was already thinking that Fox is getting lazy, and this is just backing that up. i wonder if he prefers hammocks, chaise lounges, couches, or recliners.

He does have that nice crib at Quail Hollow now on number 14. There is much golf that needs to be played during the bye week. I mean, can you blame Fox? Winter is right around the corner, not much golf time left.

    • I don’t go back and look at the espn but there live it definitely said 1 shot 1 goal when it happened. I guess they had not added them yet. Still allowing goals that early is rough. Blue line is a total disaster still. Even with Slavin back. Miller and Nikishin keep making mistakes after mistakes.
    • I generally disagree with the concept of picking a position because of value early in the draft. For instance, if there's a really good safety, RB or ILB at pick 10, I'm choosing him over a project WR or DE. Better players make the team better. A bunch of ok players will give you an ok team. The number 1 goal of the draft should be to improve the overall talent on the team. Not to fill positions of need.  Deciding beforehand that you're picking a LT in the first or second round because Ickey went down is not the way to improve the team. Now if Dan has similar grades on 2 or 3 players and one happens to be a LT, then yeah go for it. But don't pass on your guy at ILB because you have a gap at LT or need to improve the pass rush with a DE. When those guys don't pan out then you haven't improved your team. But that LB could have been a franchise cornerstone for years to come. See Luke Kuechly and Christian McCaffrey.
