Given how the picks fell in the 2017 draft, would you make any different picks? (Post your revisionist draft)

Overall I liked our draft, but I didn't like how we didn't address TE which I thought would be huge going into this year. So if you were in a senario where you somehow could go back in time and be Gettleman, what would your draft be now that you know exactly where certain players will land? Yeah you can say what's done is done, this is just for fun though.  Here's mine for example

R1 P8  Malik Hooker , S, Ohio State (If I were Gman my big board would have had both safteys rated ahead of McCaffrey . Hooker's too much of a blue chip talent to let go)

R2 P8 Obi Melifonwu . S, UCONN (Yeah complain all you want early double dip on saftey but the value is tremendous. I'd make Obi the SS, Hooker the FS, with starter level backups in Coleman for backup FS and Mike Adams as backup SS suddenly were stacked in the back end of the d as well as the front on the line).

P64 : Taylor Moton OT Western Michigan (No sense in changing this. Almost perfect value for the pick and hits a big need).

P77 : (Keep the trade up different player) D'Onta Foreman RB Texas (Get our RB need and his value in the 3rd is solid. )

P152 Jeremy Sprinkle TE Arkansas (Need a TE for the future)

P192 Sam Rogers FB Vtech

P 233 Isaiah Ford WR Vtech (Absolute STEAL in the 7th , why did he drop this far? He was projected to be a mid rounder)

I think we could have gotten some more defensive talent. Felt mccaffery was a bit overdrafted, samuel was an interesting pick, moton was great, I don't know anything about hall. Seems iffy and elder is a beast. If anything, id do obi over samuel.

8:  FS Malik Hooker  (BPA and adding an Ed Reed for the next decade is awesome)

40:  RB Dalvin Cook  (BPA and adding a first round talent at RB, though he's not my pref style for our team)

64: WR Chris Godwin (Well rounded WR2 with speed, great route running and ability to move all over including the slot)

77:  DE Daeshon Hall (He's been a draft crush of mine since watching Garrett vids)

145:  TE Jake Butt (I would've packaged picks in R6 & R7 to the top of the round to get this balanced TE that is a R2 talent)

I don't feel like the FB and K that we added present more value than Butt would have 7 spots earlier. To get him in the 5th round is, IMO, a steal.

So we would walk away with arguably the top safety in this draft class, a first round RB, a helluva WR2/WR3, a lengthy DE that fits our style, and a Jason Witten-like tight end.
