Well lewis wants to be a out spoken dude in the press and the papers. Maybe he needs to start by gettting up into our million$ a game guy face peppers and tell him to stop playing like a loserand to start doing a lot more then he has been doing. Peppers is the key to our D. If peppers keeps playing the way he has been. Then no amount of talking from fox lewis are no else will work. Peppers is the key to our D.

Why is it that NO gets a new DC, doesn't really upgrade their talent, but their D is playing much better?

Meanwhile, we get a new DC, I'd like to think we have greater talent on D, and our D is one of the worst in the league?

Because we got JOHN FOX.

;) Bingo. Fox is the problem right now. Fox is just a layed back coach who does not do anything. Fox method is not working anymore. Fans knows that and the press and Sports Networks knows that. It's just does the matter of wheather the owner knows that and is ready to pull the trigger at tthe end of the season. Unless by some Mircale fox comes out of the bye week and his team all of a sudden goes on a long 7 are 8 game winning steak agaist a bunch of great teams.:rant:

I'm curious how you know this as true and what you have read/observed that would lend you this opinion, instead of it being that Fox is only as good as what we are seeing... Could it be he just isn't as good more so than he "is a laid back coach who does not do anything".. what does the last part of this sentence really mean?

      The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.

      I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.

      lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
