...and maybe I just didn't notice before, but Dave Gettleman is not the only name I no longer see listed on the Panthers "Staff" page (link).

Don Gregory's name isn't there either.

Back in May, Gregory went from being Director of Player Personnel - a title he was promoted to only last year - to being a "Senior Executive Scout".  I remember at the time thinking it sounded like the same kind of 'step back' move that Dave Gettleman had done with the Giants, but I didn't initially notice he was no longer linked on the page (the Panthers don't list scouts on site).

Mark Koncz is now listed as the Director of Player Personnel while Jeff Morrow has Gregory's other old job as Director of College Scouting. Similar to Gregory, Morrow was only elevated to Assistant Director of College Scouting last year (odd at the time given that no one was actually listed as 'Director').

There had been speculation Gregory might join the Bills but nothing has come of it, so far.

Gregory is in his early 60s, I believe.

Makes me think they saw him purely as a scout rather than an executive.
