Exactly, which is one of several reasons in my opinion why our head coach shouldn't have whined so much about the season opener in Denver last year, especially since it was a Thurs game and gave us extra days after the long trip.

The team earned the right last year to open at home in front of the fans.  Ron was right.  We deserved it as fans too.

The issue wasn't the rest afterwards. It is how hard it is to prepare for a game on a short week when your roster has barely been set. That, and having to fly out west was a real disadvantage. Rivera basically had two days to prepare the team to open the season.

Two days? It was the first game of the season. You can prepare a couple weeks for that.

Ron could prepare but he couldn't prepare the team. They had cuts to make. You can't really do game planning with the players when your roster isn't set.

If we don't put up atleast 40 I will be pissed I don't want to just win I want to destroy them  Tim !

You are going to be pissed then, that is not what Ron does.  We might get up by that much but by the end it will be much closer.
