Ultimately the goal needs to be to get 6 points every 5 games, that puts us roughly at 96 points over 82 games.

We're only a game off pace right now with 10 in 10 instead of 12 in 10.

The good news is we have the Avs, Yotes, and Panthers back to back to back, a streak could be put together here to propel us back into an early playoff spot. The boys also usually play really well in November.

Canes lose again, to a team that was historically awful last season. Yet that team is somehow still more improved than we are at this point. Fire Francis. Fire Peters. We need new blood from outside the organization. The stench of Rutherford and losing are still too strong for the franchise. And we need to ship out one of Faulk or Hanifin for an impact forward before their value plummets and it's too late.

Gonna try to catch this one tonight.

If it seems like the Canes haven't won in a week, it is because they haven't. It's been 9 days since the Canes beat the breaks off Toronto and there is no better team to play than the Coyotes to end this drought.

The Canes are down a defenseman with Pesce out due to a concussion, Roland McKeown was called up for the occasion.

Skinner / Staal / Lindholm

Teravainen / Rask / Williams

Aho / Kruger / Jooris

Nordstrom / Ryan / McGinn

Slavin / Faulk

Wow, this team is just incredibly boring. Crazy how I went from being so excited about hockey that I literally would shake at the close early games to start the season due to excitement/nervousness about how the "new" Canes are finally here to now being just completely indifferent to this band mediocre of scrubs who couldn't score with the entire vault of Fort Knox's gold in a whore house. It's just a laughable trainwreck that you can't look away from at this point. Oh well, might as well as enjoy NHL hockey in the Carolinas while it lasts. We're on the fast track to be the next Atlanta Thrashers, especially with shithead extraordinaire Don Waddell having a prominent role in this organization.

Yeah, I was at the game last night, and some of the ushers said they barely get 12,000 per game.  It's awful right now.

      Does he not already do that? The go route stuff is to just make space for the constant dink and dunk. That's why it dries up near the 20 where it gets tough.  Difficult to defend? Just get up in scores and lean into it. If they can send pressure without going too soft in coverage it will work agaisnt the Panthers.  I still think the offense is a QB away from instant improvement.

      I don't know how about 5 at this point. I think that window has closed. Getting the easy stuff early and being notoriously unprepared every year is blowing up in their faces. 3 might be the max. Good Bryce shows up when the other team is having a practice game or an off weak after watching our film. It's basically a sucker punch to teams mailing it in. Groundhog day? More like Groundhog year again

      It's a weak take like it was a weak game. It was garbage time against backups. That's his shine time. It's should be made fun of because it was pathetic. The WRs were gassed? What about the backup DBs? Those guys must have been really tired since they sit on the bench most of the time. Take that BS and go whine to someone else. man or zone they played off the line and back 10 yards in soft ass coverage. That and practice is all Young is good at. When the other team plays like they want to win he shuts down. Same as last year. Blah blah blah
