The 5 Stages of a Relationship

If this resembles your reality, something is wrong with you. Life is only like this if you're shallow and have no idea how to communicate with your partners. Stop dating vapid mannequins, stop reading arrested adolescent crap like Maxim, and grow up

Great comment there.

Did you marry your cherry popper?

First of all, some of the best dates I have had have been with mannequins! Minus the splinters.

Second, I do agree with you about reading Maxim. If you read Maxim then you don't have the balls to a) buy a Hustler or B) come out of the closet and buy that issue of Elle you have been wanting.

Finally, I would like to say that I went through all five steps. Unfortunately, step 2 didn't start until we already married. So I would like to replace "too afraid and got engaged" with "knew I would get caught so I bought a lawnmower instead of a chainsaw and a shovel."

It wasn't my comment, I pulled it from the comments section in the article.

Shoulda kept it in grey to make that clear.

But I do agree with the overall theme of the poster.

No, I didn't marry my first.

Not even close, but I DID manage to find I woman I was both sexually bonerific with as well as intellectually stimulated by.....which seems to be the problem here.

Getting beyond the lizard brain usually yields good results.

That behavior is fine, as long as everyone involved understands that the relationship is doomed to never get beyond the sheets.

Cool! I make a joke and get a biography. Just because you and your wife can get along in and out of the sheets doesn't mean you can judge those of us that have to resort to putting our significant others in heavy duty lawn bags and only cutting an air hole after they agree to puff on the staff of life and then are forced to go on a long ass rant on a long ass run on sentence that absolutely no one in the world finds funny but them but they don't care because the typing takes away the pain and makes them forget about the smell coming from the trunk of their car and....

Oh look.... There is mind. Found it. Let me go put this back in.

    • You're assuming just as well.   Morgan and Canales were hired 3 days apart.  I believe it was partially due to their connections in Seattle.  i believe Tepper wanted some familiarity with his GM and HC.  It is so easy to sit back and arm-chair QB over draft picks.  You don't know what the philosophy was going into the 2024 draft.  I believe Canales and Morgan were drafting for the future.  XL and Brooks point to that philosophy. Name me one GM that is 100% on draft picks.  Just one.  You're not going to find one.    I think year one picks weren't for what can you do for me now but Potential.   XL hasn't lived up to the hype of a 1st rounder.  I think we all can agree on that. However, there still is hope he comes around.  What I believe they saw in him was his speed after the catch.  He needs to get more consistent but when he gets the ball you kind of hold your breath just a second because if he gets free, he's gone.  The Brooks pick was a signing for the future, and no one could have guessed he would re-injure the same ACL.  This makes the pick look bad but Dallas was ready to draft him later that same round.  IMO we'll have to see what happens next season before we can call this a bust. Wallace has improved each season and for a third rounder has done well.  Sanders has shown flashes and considering the pick in the 4th round it wasn't a bad pick.  His sophomore season IMO was a little bit more productive.  Smith-Wade has been a good addition and has played well.  For a 5th round pick to get as much playing time as he has.  Most picks below round 3 should take a couple of years to get up to speed.  He's been a decent player.  Crumedy, no comment We turned Barrett into Jackson.  This was an amazing move and basically got a starting CB for a 7th round pick.  Pretty shrewd if you ask me. Coker, maybe the best Free Agent signing of the 2024 draft class. So, in short, you can't say that the draft was a bust.  It isn't a home run but all but one are still on the team and outside of Brooks have made contributions to wins.  2025 draft class has been much better with almost every pick making contributions this season.  Now take Fitterer's two years and compare them to Morgan and tell me that they have the same philosophy.
    • He hasn’t led crap, he’s on loaded teams and a piece of the puzzle. And he’s he has improved drastically but it took the ultimate QB whispers in Shanahan and KOC. You put him on this Panther team and he’s back to normal Darnold
    • Slavin and Jarvis week to week. Florida cheap shots took out our two best players.  I’d start KK so he can beat the brakes off someone.
