The NFL is Unpredictable

In the Panthers fandom universe, the sky is falling, Cam needs to be benched for DA or traded, our defense is no longer good, McCaffrey is a bust, and we should bring back freakin' Philly Brown (god that's stupid).

Why people make such definitive statements about the NFL in September is beyond me.  The league is unpredictable during the regular season, especially this early, and any team can beat any team every single week.

For example, let's review what happened over the weekend.

Saints over the Panthers.

Redskins over the Raiders

Bills over the Broncos

Bears over the Steelers

Jaguars over the Ravens

Jets over the Dolphins

The Patriots almost lost at home to the Texans.

The Packers almost lost at home to the Bengals.

Sure, the Panthers played TERRIBLE against the Saints, but let's hold off a while before we speak so definitely about this team and the rest of the NFL.  The only real winner in week 3 is Vegas.

    • I’m old enough to remember when I wanted to draft Njoku We brought back Mitchell and officially kept Tremble. Mitchell Evans isn’t going anywhere. Sanders who knows, he was awful last year I fully agree we need a better TE. This room is awful Njoku would be a massive help in the red zone. However it really seems like Dan and the FO prefer to go young on offense
    • You’re underselling Loveland imo. He’s so damn good. You can line him out wide and count on him to win 1 v 1. I don’t see that from Sadiq. Loveland is going to go over 1000 yards next season I’m not overly asking for a WR3. It’s just one of the few directions Morgan could go in round 1.  Let’s say Thieneman, Fano and Cooper are all on the board it’s a tough decision. I just don’t see how this team would take Sadiq over some of those guys given the way they run their offense. Our tight end room is easily bottom of the league so I can definitely see why someone would want a tight end though. At one point during the season I was on the Sadiq train as well. I just don’t think value wise for us specifically it makes sense given our team as a whole As far as tight ends go in this draft I really like Max Klare. Very smooth mover
    • Some of you need some serious help with the way 9 lives rent free in your heads I know for a fact, Dan loves Bryce. Bryce is his guy. This offense is very young and they’re asking Bryce to do a lot. With Idzik taking over playcalling duties it’s a move that is another step in the process of Bryce taking control of the offense. 24 years old. This youth movement on offense and putting more on 9’s shoulders is going to pay off in the long run
