Gruden now 2-1 odds to be next Tennessee Vols coach, only a return to Tampa stands in way?

No. Nick Saban was a career college guy who dabbled in the NFL, not vice versa. Big difference.

Pete Carroll then.  No reason to think Gruden wouldn’t annihilate it in the college game.

Yeah there is. Because recruiting is hard damn work. It's not easy to real in big time recruits with the likes of Nick Saban, Urban Meyer, etc. out there. That's why Pete Carroll had to cheat his ass off to succeed.

Not sure what that matters now.  Both the letter and spirt of the rules (the few that did exist) were blown to smithereens with the UNC ruling.

Just goes to show you how damn dumb USC is. The two situations couldn't have been any less comparable.

But I'm fully aware that the NCAA is hypocritical as hell and couldn't care less about these kids they're exploiting under the guise after "amateur" sports. Everyone is making a TON of money except the players.
