Steph Curry wants in

Evwryone else is doing it so here it goes.

Steph Curry told Diddy he wants in on the deal to buy the Panthers.  I would love Curry in the ownership group because he is a Panthers fan and grew up in Charlotte.  But I really don’t want Diddy anywhere near this team.

He can get loans, investors. Even as a minority owner, I think Curry would be a positive.

This is the problem with black wealth, there isn't any.  The person who will buy this team, I imagine they would have to put up around 1.5 billion just to start things off.  The reality is the Panthers are a great franchise.  The final price tag could be over 2 billion.  I doubt Curry could get that, or even a significant percentage of that through loans and investors.  If he becomes a minority owner, it wouldn't mean much at all.  He would have no real say about what goes on with the team.  It would be like Jay Z and the Brooklyn Nets, who only owned less than 1% of the team, but they trotted him out there like he was calling the shots.  Laughable!
