The Bucs WILL win....

if they can produce some sort of pass rush ,keep Williams and Stewart in check and hold the Panthers down on plays over 40 yards

The Panthers will win if their running game is clicking and they jump out to an early 10-14 point lead

That said,as much as both teams are sucky right now, there is a history of hard nose physical play between them...I say this game come down to the last 5 minutes

Bucs 17

Cats 14

I think it is going to be a pretty ugly game.

I think is is an opportunity for the Panthers to build some much needed confidence IF they come out on top decisively. If the Bucs make this a close game and the Panthers have to scrounge out a win, then the vitcory will not be the moral booster the team despirately needs. In overstating the obvious, a loss would be a crushing defeat in any atttempts of salvaging the season.

The only way we have a chance of saving our season is winning the next 2 games. With how good of a record NO has and the rest of the NFC, 2-3 teams would really need to screw up for us to get a chance at the wildcard. Im not saying that NO cant go on a losing streak, I am just saying the more games we are back by lets say week 7, the lower the possibility of getting to the postseason.

    • I did not want to start or even think about *if* BY reverts back to pre-non last 9 games.   There is a lane in which Panthers are looking QB after this season, I feel its higher than most will realize. I mean....not kidding... has any team ever traded up to 1st overall twice in the teams history? I don't even want to think within 3 years, just foresee Tepper squeezing Dans and Brandts sacs to the point were they are forced to trade up for a another savior.....   The kicker is I feel this way with BY playing good-great..... I think there with be non-fixable problems for contract negotiations between BY&reps vs Panthers org on the whole. You can not pay 50+ million per over few years with 70% guarantees for 3,303 yards 15 TDs and 9 INTs......Cursed I tell you....
    • It's not surprising, but it's still surprising that many of these guys don't manage their money in such a way that provides them and their families a better lifestyle than most for the rest of their lives without even working a nine-to-five. I can't imagine making over a 100 mil for a decade and ultimately ruminating about supporting my family due to financial issues.
    • That why i mentioned the KC dynasty. Those three different playoff loses were not Allens fault, in fact 1-2 plays and Bills win. KC just have better players and better coaches and more luck.  Defense-wise, Bills have been trying to crack the Reid-Halhomes magic. Its near impossible with rules and KC home field advantage. Spags has started to force the league in naming him the best DC in NFL history. I agree if you take away Bill bielacheat.... Add in Andy Reid the best QB coach and brilliant play designer/play-caller, I mean that's too much for one QB to over-come on his own.  Just trolling or not, bad is bad scot. Allen is legit as any one QB has ever been.
