That .gif is classic.

You're still being hyperbolic though.

You better hope we win this thing within the next decade.  Life ain't promised,  and we're aging.  So...

What was the title of one of your other recent threads?  Something about the failure of the Gettleman era?

Barely 48 hours ago Scot was ranting about Eric Shelton, and that was a damn decade ago.

Now he's here telling someone to let front office mistakes go from last season that are very much affecting us now?

Come on man.

So you can produce the page where I "ranted" about Eric Shelton in the last 48 hours, right?

Wouldn't want you to look like a liar now, would we?

I started one thread.  I'm not going to apologize for it.  Like I said,  unlike some of you,  I have plenty of threads/posts on here praising the man,  so in all actuality,  I'm not a classic hater,  I just hate that he didn't do a better job while he was here.

It was in one of the many recent threads about Hurney.

I mean if you're gonna deny it I'll see if I can dig it up but you were talking about Shelton in regards to Hurney's past. If that's not off limits why can't we talk about DG's mistakes as recent as last offseason?

"I talk about the guy constantly and start threads specifically to complain about him, but I'm not a hater."

Right...

Call me what you like,  but I think that it's just as counterproductive---if not more---to continually take potshots at Hurney. You could give that a rest too,  and hope that the man has learned something during his time away.

I actually did a search for mentions of Eric Shelton in the last week.  The only one that came up was yours.

My recent focus has been on coaching hires.  That's what I'm interested in right now, plus of course any information about the sale of the team.

I mention Hurney occasionally, but I'd be willing to bet I cuold find at least a dozen posts (and probably more) where you talk about Gettleman for every one mention of Hurney.  Gettleman and Newton seem to be the only things you ever want to talk about.  And it's pretty clear you either just wanna argue with people or you're absolutely obsessed with both.

Rum's right.  It's tiresome, and it's boring.

Find some new material. dude.

Do me a favor and find a thread I started about Marty Hurney like the one you did.

And the same as with Red: I'd bet for every time I've mentioned Hurney, I can find at least ten posts where you wanna talk about Gettleman.

Just let it go, dude.

I didn't say you started Hurney threads,  I essentially said that you really don't pass up an opportunity to take potshots at him.  And you do.

I didnt add Dickson because I thought he was free agent--He and Anderson and maybe Star could be on the move--that is about $9m (top of head)

You're  probably absolutely right.  I guess I just don't want us to re-up him for anything more than the vet minimum (and maybe not that).

Riiiight.

If you want to talk about how much I mention Marty Hurney vs how often you reference Gettleman, well...

I've spent the last several days focused on little else than coaching hires. That's something that's kind of important right now.  I've also been interested in whether or not we were going to lose Steve Wilks and which coaches would go with him.

So tell me, starter of recent Gettleman threads, what are you focused on?
