On Monday's episode of 'Jeopardy' we saw a familiar face on the gameshow, and it wasn't Alex Trebek.

It was contestant Jeff Kirby, who managed to try his hand at collecting some cash for a second time after producers dropped the ball.

---

Producers didn't realize he had been on 'Jeopardy' before until watchful viewers brought it to their attention later this week -- even though he used the same name, same profession, and even the same hometown in both appearances.

How boring does your life have to be that you recognize a contestant on Jeopardy from 10 years ago AND then bother to call the show and tell them?

you probably have to be some uppity crusty geometry teacher who's worked in the same high school for more than 30 years and thought about molesting one of the female students more than once.

I tried out for Jeopardy once in Charlotte.

Got to meet Alex. All the questions were 800 and 1000 questions. 50 of them.

Billy from John Boy and Billy was at the same table as me. We made past a few rounds but not the final.

The lady who won from our group was a retired librarian and won a couple of days on the show.

    • Rotating in Chuba was beyond stupid and really hurt our offense overall. We’ve been in a good rhythm the last 6 quarters or so but Canales figured disrupting that with Chuba would be worth it Rico fits this offense so much better than Chuba    As far as grades go I know that ain’t our RB1, starting Center and our supposedly deep WR room and exciting talented young TE in dead last. Weird. I wonder if that has any correlation on QB play  Even that first incomplete ball Bryce threw in the end zone that hit Legette’s hands. Legette had no business being there so early. Legette went into scramble drill when that ball was intended for Coker who led up because of the traffic there
    • Yeah Jets have pretty much been in every game they've played and have barely lost to really good teams. They are much better than their record says Imo
    • I kinda just wanna see what the offense can do with a QB who has proven he can move the football in the NFL. If Dalton wasn't a shadow of his former self I'd be fine with him but Father Time has definitely caught up with him. If we start piling up the losses as the schedule gets tougher and the passing offense continues to be anemic that might cast Canales his job and it's worth a very low risk move IMO to at least give him a fighting chance. The thought of yet another Tepper rebuild just isn't at all exciting to me having already seen a few of them. I'm about giving this current guy a fighting chance.
