Tired of the Bullshi* Pessimistic Attitude on this Forum

About 99 Percent of all the threads ever in this forum are negative. Going on from saying how bad Peppers plays, to how bad Delhomme is, to how bad the team is. And constantly saying how we will fail this season. Even after we have won 2 in a row (granted against supposedly inferior teams) people get their panties in a bunch and start bitchin about any small thing that doesn't allow the team to perfect. If you want to insult the team so much go be a fukin cowboys fan and stop staying in this damn forum. Again stop being so negative, i wouldn't be surprised if half the people on this forum are emo pieces of crap from all the negativity..

I mean for real...

I am happy the panthers won again this week. And I am sure this is a spark for the rest of the season. So stop being so freakin bitchy about every damn game.

When faced with a team in the bottom 20% of the league, the word pessimism does not apply.

I understand your frustration, I'm a true Panther fan from day 1. But facts are facts: Delhomme completed about 50% of his passes for 65 yrds and threw 2 more ints. We need a QB that can make better decisions that Delhomme. We we're taken out of a game down the stretch I hope that the coaching staff put Moore in to see what he has so we will now what to do as far as a trade or draft. We are a much better team talent wise than the way we have played, but our biggest hindrance continues to be our QB and Special Teams. Delhomme does not put up the numbers of a starting QB in the NFL, although I do love his fire and passion for the game. I wouldn't release him, he'd be my back up after finding a worthy starter to take his place. But much to our dismay, there really hasn't been one available other than Cutler and I don't think Cutler's character is fitting for us. But where else can we air our opinion about the team we love and want to see in win it all.

The Bears don't seem to have a problem with Cutler's attitude.

He's also making, up until tonight's game anway as that story has not been told yet, good check down decisions and such.

Character only goes so far. Either Delhomme's arm, or his head, aren't there, and haven't been since last year.

The Front office should certainly have known and been able to see this. They didn't.

Peppers for Cutler, straight up.

The NFL is QB driven league now and we don't have one.

    • This 1000%.  Hey who wants to sign with the guy that couldn't even get his client the guaranteed contract of a 3rd round pick?  Lmao
    • I don't think it's any weird or unique clause, it's the offset language, same thing so many contract disputes are over. It just means that including it, if a player is cut and then signed by another team, the original team would be able to subtract how much they're getting paid by the new team from what they still owe him on their guaranteed money. For example, it's why Russell Wilson signed for the minimum last year with the Steelers as that was included in his Denver contract.  So if he signed with the Steelers for $1 million, he'd get $1 million less from the Broncos, if it was $2 million, he'd get $2 million less, basically he couldn't make any more money than he was already going to make, so you sign for the minimum to not take unnecessary cap room from your new team while giving extra cap room to your old one. The problem with trying to include it in rookie deals is that a team trying to include it, it says they think they don't really believe the player will make it 4 years with the team before they cut them.  And this usually comes up with one or two rookies in most seasons, the difference is it's usually handled much more quietly and not as public and ugly as this one. The other difference is that it's happening with the Bengals, which I believe I saw are one of the few (or only?) team that doesn't have protections for rookies in rookie and mini camps to be able to participate even if they haven't signed their contract yet.  The other teams have injury protections that allow them to still play, but the Bengals do not, which is also why this one is so public and ugly, as most the time this happens, the rookie is still participating in the rookie and subsequent mini camps, giving them more time to get the contract done before training camp when they'd then hold out.
