Other Signing-Maybe

No doubt there are safeties available to sign but it might be costly...would bringing in a LB hurt?  I'm not sure D Johnson is available but knowing TD is out 4 games and we depend mostly on our front 7 play, is it not worth bringing in another LB?  I would really like a safety but LB doesnt sound bad either!  Does anyone think that Marty will sign another vet this week?

Derrick Johnson already signed with the Raiders. 

I don't expect us to sign anyone with TD only missing four games. Plus we drafted two LBs late this year.

I mean, we've got Shaq and Luke for 40+% of the snaps.  That 50-60% when we're in our base, Shaq will be in TD's role and I think Mayo will fill in fine at OLB.  Factor in maybe it's Norris or one of our new draft picks, and we're solid.

I'm personally rooting for it to be a Norris revelation those first 4 games.

That's the issue, they were drafted late...normally we play LBs same year when they are drafted early.  Lol like first round early only

He's only suspended for four games. If we like the young LBs were not going to risk potentially putting one of them on the PS while TD is suspended.

A Huddler probably has a better chance of signing a contract with the Panthers than Breeland does.
