They drafted a guy were all familiar with and wanted Justin Reid.  The kid is turning heads there but struggling to get in the field behind 2 other safeties who's contracts are up at seasons end anyways.  And both could end up walking this offseason

 

Kareem Jackson and Tyrann Mathiue

 

They get something for someone who is going to walk anyways while Justin Reid gets on the field with little to no drop off

 

We get a Solid safety where we desperately need.

 Norv coming in over Shula, solid drafting and I am almost seeing a whole new team.   Cam is playing as well as he has ever been.   I do not know what their plan is for Moore at this point, he clearly can make plays - are they saving him for the second half of the season?

Saints and Buccaneers put up alot of points, defense better show up playing those two.

I don’t think I can start topics yet so I’ll ask it here since it’s somewhat related. What positions would be your early wishlist for the 2019 draft? We gave a pick in every round except for the 7th.

1st round I’d take best available at S, CB, or OL 

I think if you put a stellar corner opposite of Jackson that really fixes a lot of our pass defense. DE needs to be fixed in free agency or a trade.

After corner I think you have to go OL. Frankly if we could get two 2nd round OL by giving up some later picks it would be a tremendous help. That is assuming we don’t take some kid from a Junior college because we think were being witty.
