LET’S TALK PANTHERS & STEELERS TONIGHT

ALLLL RIGHT YA BUNCH OF BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE LET'S TALK STEELERS & PANTHERS TONIGHT.

First off, my god. The way the majority of the fan base is expecting a loss here on a short week is absolutely baffling to me.  Correct me if I’m wrong but aren't the Panthers playing the same team that TIED THE CLEVELAND BROWNS THIS YEAR?!?!?! Lord.  This team is the same team they are every year.  They look great from far away but when you really take a close look you realize that they’re just not going to make it.  You almost feel bad for Steelers fans.   Every year it’s the same.  “YARRRRRR WE’RE GONNA MAKE IT TO THE SUPERBOWLL STEEL CURTAIN BABBYY WOOOOO” then they go to New England in the playoffs and it all just falls apart.  If it was up to me I’d definitely give this team the ol’ yeller treatment and just take them out back and end their misery.  If anyone asks what happened to them I’d just say, “son, it was just their time.”

No, Steelers fans.  I don’t care if Tom Brady plays until he’s 50, his 50 year old ass will still send you packing in the AFCC game just like he does every year. Some things you can just count on. Who the hell is still on this team anyway?

Ben Roethlisberger?  Let’s chat real quick about this guy.

Full disclosure, I hate Ben Roethlisberger.  Is there anything in the history of eyesight that is more annoying to look at than the word “Roethlisberger”?  He used to be a force in the league. Keyword used to.  Nowadays not so much.   Speaking of force, if you gave this guy the ability to use the force for ONE DAY I can almost guarantee you that all he’d do is…

HE’D USE THE FORCE TO FORCE INTERCOURSE.  zing.

Now I wasn’t even going to touch on the sexual assault accusations because it’s reallll low hanging fruit but sometimes I can’t even help myself.  I mean damn even if all these women are lying on Ben, this is becoming a “fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me fool me three times damn maybe I should stop being such a terrible person.”  I’m not saying the accusations are true, but I am saying that he’s definitely a rapist.  Too much smoke for there not to be a rape-y fire somewhere.   I bet this guy is actively cheating on his wife literally right now.  This guy is a scumbag.

Moving on though.

Is there anybody else worth talking about here?  What about Le’veon Bell?  HAAA oh wait I forgot these are the Steelers we’re talking about.  Good ol’ Pittsburgh.  The home of lowballing your franchise players.  It’s almost like the front office took one listen to LeVeon’s mixtape and were like “this is wayyy too black for our tastes.  He wants HOW MUCH again???”

Then you’ve got Antonio Brown

Honestly, can’t touch this guy.  I’d love nothing more than to roast this guy for about 12 consecutive sentences but I mean the man arrived to training camp in a FUGGING HELICOPTER this year.  Have you ever taken a helicopter to work before?  Didn’t think so.   If there’s one guy I’d take off the Steelers and add them to the good guys it’d be this one.  Can you imagine Cam to AB?  Sweet Jesus.

Alright enough fun and games let’s talk about the actual game tonight

This one is either going to be a blowout or a shootout for the good guys.  I really do not see a loss here. This team is a 13-3 team worst case scenario and I don't believe tonight's the night they get their last loss of the season. There’s been a lot of talk about “wha wha wha what about the short week? How are they going to handle the short week??”  Look.  If there’s anybody who should be concerned about the short week, it’s the Steelers.   Raise your hand if you want to volunteer to gameplan against THIS Panthers offense and oh by the way you only have 3 days to do it?  The Panthers throw way too much at you on offense.  Who do you key in on here?  You remember when the old cliché on Cam was “You gotta keep him in the pocket and make him beat you with his arm HAR HAR HAR”.  Go ahead and try that nowadays.

The Panthers have the much easier task in preparing for the Steelers offense.  Double AB, stop the run, let Donte Jackson take care of Ju-Ju.  Limit penalties and limit turnovers.  The offense will put up +30 tonight but will the Steelers be able to do the same?  That’s what you’re going to want to watch for.   The matchup worth watching tonight is the Panthers D vs. Steeler O.   Promise.

Let’s wrap up with a prediction.   I usually hate these because you’re just inviting yourself to be wrong but what can I say, I’m feelin a little bold and excited today.   IT’S GAME DAY BABYYYYYYY!!!!!

Let’s call it     Panthers: 34  Steelers: 27.

Keep Pounding folks.

I’m terrified that we will get no pressure (they have best o line in league at moment) and Ben will repeatedly pick us apart on long, clock-eating drives  God I hope I’m wrong.

I hope you’re wrong too :)

    • Not sure who said it first, but Tepper is the correct answer. Still, I'm gonna go with Kasay keeping it inbounds. If, you subscribe to the butterfly effect version of time travel consequences.... When we win SBXXXVIII everybody's lives change: Moose never breaks his leg, We win it all again in 05. Tommy Jone is unknown and Peppers stays home, Champs once more 2008. No artificial pig heart turning JR into a creepy weirdo, no lockout, no Clausen. Fox and Jake ride off into the sunset on their own terms. No 2-14, no #1 pick. But, no laptop, no Blinn, 3 years behind The Golden Calf of Bristol, we still get Cam. JR let's him grow his locs like he always wanted, Smitty sees Cam in a new light. Dreads swinging, (and Smitty with his 3 Lombardis behind him) Cam is old enough to get those calls. No Manning narrative, Cotchery TD, PI against Talib on Philly Brown, 10,000 RTP calls and Kony Ealy SB50 MVP. No Jeans Fridays, no Tepper. KB doesn't slip on his own meatsweat mid-route in SD, Cam becomes the 1st QB to win 10 straight SBs. Retiring after being elected 47th president of the US of A, Cam ushers in the Permanent Proletarian Revolution across the globe, Xi Jinping bows in awe. "ẄøŘƙƐṛ§ őF ŧĤə ŵØRłð, ŮŊÏŦƐ!!!"
    • Yeah your right the owner was copping hand shandies while all this was going down
    • I mean not surprised the Patriots took him in and aren't trying to push him out. They've been the most morally bankrupt team in the NFL for a long while. Wouldn't be surprised if Vrabel has his own dirt on Kraft/Brady and other assholes from that organization over the last couple decades.
